Extrovert vs. Introvert Networking for your Art

The Difference Between Extrovert and Introvert Networking for your biz.

Extrovert:

Yay! There’s a networking mixer tonite and I can’t wait. I have all my business cards ready. I’ve been non-stop busy all day and that will be fun. Want to come?

Introvert:

Oh.

Extrovert:

Yes, let’s meet over there. This will be good for your business. You need to do this.

Introvert Thoughts:

Do we have to? Really? I’ve interacted all day and the pace has been so fast, I can hardly breathe. I haven’t had a time to even process what has happened throughout the day. I can’t wait to get home, take off my shoes, undo the bra, and veg out in front of a Hulu screen. Maybe even sketch a bit in some needed quiet. The last thing I want to do is be even more stimulated by having to socialize with small talk with people I don’t even know or have a connection to. Just the thought of it is giving me the beginning of a migraine. Then if I go it will literally take me several hours just to unwind to fall asleep. I’m thinking there’s a better way to do this for me. I get why most of these mixers serve a lot of drinks.

Introvert:

We’ll see.
